IT Manager
BACKGROUND INFORMATIONT
The IT Manager is expected to support the Results Oriented Monitoring (ROM) project, which was awarded to an ICCS-led Consortium. The ROM system is the external monitoring system of the European Commission. It aims at enhancing the European Commission's (EC) accountability and management capacities with a strong focus on results and support to the EU Delegations’ and Headquarters’ services by providing an external opinion, amongst other, on project implementation.

The IT coordinator will provide day-to-day IT support services to the Project Team.

POSITION SUMMARY
The IT coordinator will provide day-to-day IT support services to the Project Team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administration of internal IT systems;
- Administration of Project email (G-suite);
- Administration and further development of SharePoint platform;
- Delivery of Webinars related to increased productivity when using IT tools;
- Automation of internal processes;
- IT support to Project Team Members;
- Other functions (cooperation with IT contractors and service providers, etc.)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher Education degree, preferably in Computer Sciences or the respective technical education with equivalent experience;
- Advanced knowledge of Office 365;
- Knowledge of other IT tools and databases;
- Previous experience with SharePoint;
- Programming knowledge (preferably VBA);
- Good working knowledge of English;
- Responsibility and attention to details;
- Organisation skills; capabilities to develop several tasks simultaneously; respect of deadlines;
- Ability to work as part of a team and in a multicultural environment, interpersonal skills;
- Willingness and ability to learn.
ASSETS
- Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish and/or Portuguese;
- Working experience with or within International Organisations (e.g. EU Institutions);
- Knowledge of SharePoint;
- Programming knowledge (e.g. VBA)
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Balanced combination of office presence and tele-working;
- Office centrally located in Brussels;
- Standard office environment with shared space;
- Working hours can be discussed with the Team Leader.
CONTRACT
Contract until December 2023 (renewable).
